Chandlers Cottage 2024 Advent Calendar
Our 2024 Advent Calendar makes a big step up from last year, as you would expect!
After our first two years, I sat down and really had a think about what everyone liked about the first two, and then crammed as many techniques, cute ideas and lovely treasures into this years Advent Box as I could.
So, what should you expect in 2024?
First up, it's important to know, the Chandlers Cottage Advent Calendar is not 25 days of Gifts!
The Box
It's 24 days of little, quick to make projects. A journey of creativity, of learning different techniques, creating great little items that you can keep, gift, and then most importantly, make more of to gift, sell or just for you. Then on the 25th Day (Christmas Day) there's a little something just for you from the Chandlers Cottage family!
A few days are Christmas themed, but not overwhelmingly, and even most of these can be converted to non Christmas treasures.
My hope is when you reach the New Year, you have a collection of new techniques you have experienced, to take into the New Year and use throughout all your stitching projects in the future.
Each day You will Open a new Festive Envelope, check out what's in side, look at the clock, and decide when in the day you can sneak away to your Sewing Spot for a little break, to have some You Time with a cuppa, and create up a little "Something" to make you smile.
The Demo
Oh, and are You are "visual person?" Need to see how it's done with a Demo? For every project there is a QR code to scan to a secret place on our Chandlers Cottage website where we will catch up daily and I'll show you how to make the project of the day! So I may encroach on your "Me Time" just a little, but only if that's ok with you!
Also included is a December Calendar, for you to tick off and keep track of which projects you have completed, gifted and made again, etc
The Specials
There's also an Advent Christmas Club Offer - There will be special codes in your box to use on our website throughout the month for daily specials on Fabrics, Habby and More. Advent Christmas Club purchases will be stashed at Chandlers Cottage throughout December, and we will send them in the New Year, combine all the postage from your club purchases, refund all your postage savings and save you a heap!
The Early Bird Offer
If you place your Advanced order for your Advent Calendar before the 31st May, I will personally email you the pattern for my new bag The Traveler on the 31st May, valued at $24. This Bag design features zip closures for the opening and a pocket, more pockets, curved edges and it's a great size for a stylish tote to take away for the weekend, big shopping trips and of course, sewing supplies. The Sneak Peak
And, I think it's only fair you to give you a little idea of what to expect, so in the photos you will see the December 1st project. A colour charged foundation pieced Pentagon decoration with attitude! Make this one, then raid the stash for little strips left from other projects you just couldn't bring yourself to bin!
