Festive Fun Under the Australian Sun! 

Mail out Update! We did not receive the final four fabrics as planned last week to get this in the mail on the 13th. So..... Once we are good to go, I'll let you know, and in the meantime our start date is now "fluid" due to some clever quick changes on the titles on the envelopes! They now start with a Block A - Day1! So we can get started as soon as we can! 

Our 2025 Advent Calendar is yet again a step up and something different to the year before!

After our first three years, I have decided that a little change might be in order, after all, we have covered 72 mini projects in the last three years, so it's time for something different, lots of colour and most definitely fun!

So, what should you expect in 2025? 

First up, it's important to know, the Chandlers Cottage Advent Calendar is not 25 days of Gifts!

What's in The Box

27 Envelopes containing your patterns, notions, treats and trinkets to open each day. 

This year, it's 27 days of creative fun, and a journey to create a Festive Project perfect for a Summer Christmas, or, if you prefer, a collection of projects to use for Christmas or any other time of the year. 

Argh! It's so hard to explain what we are doing without giving the big secret away!

What I can say without spoiling the surprise, it that as always, it's a journey of creativity, of learning different techniques, creating great little items that you can keep, gift, and then most importantly, make more of to gift, sell or just for you. But then this year you can also choose to combine them all together for one bigger celebration of Festive Fun Under the Australian Sun! 

All the elements can be Christmas themed or not, it's up to you! 

As per last year, every day you will also have a QR code to click on for a catch up with me so I'll be with you all the way on your Advent journey with demos and tips etc. Also remember, I'm often tempted to set up an Advent Only member one day special here and there, so be sure to open your envelope and click on that QR code each day even if you don't have time to stitch that day! 

I know, it seems like a lot of dosh, but the fabrics are top notch, and it works out to $6/day, less than a fat quarter these days, and about the same as a cappuccino, for all the fabrics, patterns, extra treasures and 26 demos. 

When do We Start?

That's the BIG news - we are starting early! As there's an option to go ALL OUT and make this a Christmas thing if you wish, we are starting as soon as possible as per noted above, most likely mid November. 

The 30th November is also our BIG Patchwork and Product Day at Chandlers Cottage, so I'll have the finished Project(s) on display in the Shop Shed that day for all to see! 

And as per last year, each day You can Open a new Festive Envelope in the morning, check out what's in side, look at the clock, and decide when in the day you can sneak away to your Sewing Spot for a little break, to have some You Time with a cuppa, and create up a little "Something" to make you smile.

In past years I have offered up Day 1 of the project so you get an idea of what you are going to be in for, but this year you can see that actual fabrics we are using, so I think that's a big reveal in itself! No seriously, I'll be offering a little teaser closer to the launch for those that quite rightly what to know what they are in for!! 

Mail Out Date

Our 2025 Advent Calendars will mailed out late October this year, so you will have plenty of time to receive and complete your project before Chrsitmas. Alternatively you can choose the "pick up" option to visit and pick your box up from Chandlers Cottage.
